NaNoWriMo Novel in a Month Contest

Okay, thought I would give it a try. Nothing to lose and everything to gain. I am not going to edit anything until December. Plus, I received my first two rejection slips for "Vampires Suck"--WooHoo I am on a roll!!! How many did Nora Roberts have before she was published?

Also, the Muse was awake again at four o'clock this morning--she won't let me sleep--the _ itch! Anyway new idea for a contemporary--yes, still have the other one from last month in the back of my head too Business and Pleasure but this one I had to write down too.

"Fantasy Knights" (no, Cindy Miles, this is not a paranormal knights of old come to haunt hearts)--this is about a young widowed woman who owns a traveling all male review of eight hunks known as "Fantasy Knights". These hotties have taken the country by storm with Cynthia's help and are enjoying the fruits of their labors. Unfortunately, Cyn's need for a normal life for her and her five year old daughter, Karen is becoming an issue and Cyn decides to secretly do a final tour in hopes of finding someone to take over as CEO.

John Turner, her friend and one of the veteran dancers has secretly been in love with Cyn and can't do a damn thing about it. His contract is specific and he's torn between quiting the group to get out of the dilimma but also knows that he would never see her or little Karen again. Not knowing about Cyn's desire for a 'normal' life all he can think about is taking his boss to bed and making her want a life with him--doing what, John doesn't know--but he wants to do it with her.

So what do you think? I may look into Harlequin for this story line. Not only would this start out as a good one but possibly have sequels with the other guys too. Hmm? Could be.
