Eastwick-- New TV Show

Okay--had to blog about this! OMG! Did anyone see Paul Gross on the new series "Eastwick"--yummy!! It makes you want to move to New England and become a witch! Yeah, I think he definitely is one of those men who just seems to become better with age--ala Sean Connery-ish. Or maybe it is just all that 'bad boy' imagery. Whatever--it does the trick!

Twice Bitten--sequel to Vampires Suck

Now that Vampires Suck is done--for now, I have been 're-vamping' (pardon the pun) the sequel--Twice Bitten. This is the story of a couple of secondary characters from Vampires Suck. I also have been tinkering around with the outline for the third book--Written With Blood (unsure of exact title yet).

Cindy Miles--Thirteen Chances

What a great read! Her latest book is (as usual) a winner in my household. Check it out. Irish castles by the sea--hot, Irish ghost trying to keep his lost love safe, more hot ghosties and funny witches--trying hard to help two long-lost lovers. A real curl up, cozy kind of book. I enjoyed a rainy morning with a cup of hot tea, some banana bread and "Thirteen Chances". Best morning! (I did feel guilty that housework wasn't completed--but darn it all--had a great time!)

My daughter had to wait until I was finished before she could read it!

It Is Written and So It Shall Be Done--Hopefully!

Well, I have gone and done it now--Ollie! My revision to Vampires Suck has been completed. The total count-- 320 pages and 94,602 words. This of course is subject to various critiques in which I am wanting feed back on. But I feel that after submitting parts and pieces of the original draft to writing contests I am comfortable with what I have learned and hope that I have used that knowledge to the best of my story's interest. (I am sure that there will be parts that I have missed.)

Now to do a spell check/grammar check one last time--before it is critiqued as a whole. :-)

Working Hard (or hardly working)

Tuesday night I managed to finish another 412 words, I think. Anyway, I am up to 72,203 words in my revision of Vampires Suck. (Check out word count line) The percentage might be off--still trying to play with that without having to go out to site and re-do all the time.
Also managed to bake some cinnamon strusel bread yesterday, get two more loads of laundry done and have the cable guy come in to fix my cable connection. (Hopefully now my internet won't go down intermittenly or lose tv signal--egads! Now that football season is in swing--hubby would have a cow! (That I would love to see!)

Getting a Bit Done

Managed to put together more of my revision for Vampires Suck. I am now at 71,046 words (see my word bar). Also managed to do laundry along the way and a class in kickboxing. Gotta keep my tushie from getting mushie!

Love the T-shirt

Can't believe I found a t-shirt already! (Who am I kidding--and I thought my title would be original.)

Vampires Suck

Working on revision of "Vampires Suck"--just about done with it and I think it will be ready to start marketing. I hope that I can do as well with sequels "Twice Bitten" and "Backed By Blood".
I am also working on finishing up a couple of Contemporary Romances and Young Adults too so I will have a well rounded choice of reads.

Romance With a Bite of Humor

Call me crazy but I believe that there is no romance without a bit of humor. Love doesn't come without laughter. That is what makes a relationship work--in real life anyway.
